Dr. Kirsten Wilgers

Dr. Kirsten Wilgers graduated from the University of Florida in 1997 and then received her Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2001. She was a Kappa Delta at the University of Florida, a member of Florida Blue Key, a member and sustainer of the Junior League of Daytona Beach, and a past board member of the Bert Fish Foundation. Dr. Wilgers enjoys being a mentor to future doctors and being an active participant in her community supporting multiple high school sports teams, volunteering at Career Days and doing vision screenings at local preschools with Eyes On Volusia. She treasures spending time with her parents, both retired Volusia County educators, her husband, a former Lieutenant and paramedic for POFR, and their two grown children who are now in college.
